[Eureka team]Eureka Inc. was one of three teams representing the San José State College of Business in the 2006 International Collegiate Business Strategy Competition.

The team (left to right) consisted of

During the intensive phase of the competition in San Diego, Eureka was one of several teams featured on an April 7 live broadcast of the KUSI (Channel 51) show “Inside San Diego.”

The Eureka team developed a plan for manufacturing specialty integrated circuits that provide efficient Internet connectivity for smart digital devices and home appliances. Reflecting a detailed understanding of the principles of high technology businesses and the semiconductor industry, their plan won an award for best report.

Meanwhile, the team’s financial performance won second runner up against the University of San Diego, University of the Pacific, and Regents Business School (London).
