Toys With Sol is one of three award-winning teams that
represented the San José State College
of Business in the 2011 International Collegiate Business Strategy Competition
that concluded April 9 at Cal State Long Beach.
They were the first SJSU team since
2008 to win every possible award in
their division, winning the first prize both for overall firm performance
and for best written reports.
The team was built around students in the Conventional MBA and MBA-One
programs of the Donald and Sally
Lucas Graduate School of Business.
The team consisted of
- Patrick Grogan: Chief Executive Officer
- Nafisa Jhaveri: Chief Financial Officer
- Christopher Heavingham: VP of Operations
- Casey Holland: VP of Production
- Nghia Nguyen: VP of Marketing
- Shaun Teacher: VP of Sales (the first ICBSC participant from
SJSU’s Master
of Biotechnology program)
Their advisor was Prof.
