The SJSU MIS Club, Computer Science Club, and the CMPE SCE club welcomes you to the world of Dot Net.
The SJSU .NET User Group
is a joint effort, bringing together all SJSU students with an interest in the Microsoft Visual Studio.NET programming languages AND professional developers who are using this tool to develop actual applications.
The purpose of this group is to allow all of us to learn more about VS.NET, the IDE, the programming languages, and additional resources.
We have some great events planned for you. On Nov 6th, we have a big, .NET release party. And on Nov 14th, we have some excellent presentations planned for you!
We have more information on the meetings on the Events page and you can get directions by going to our directions page.
Also, if you are interested in getting a Microsoft Certification (MCSD, MCSA) to compliment your degree from SJSU, check out our events page for information on a very affordable way to do so.
Check out our links page for some really good links on Dot Net, training opportunities, tips and tricks, etc.
If you want to learn a little more about the future of Dot Net, you might check out the Whidbey Page (which is under the “Other Stuff” page.)
For support with Dot Net (or any Microsoft product) as well as reminders of upcomming meetings, check out our Yahoo Groups email list at groups.yahoo.com/group/SJSU_DotNet Anyone can join, but messages are moderated until we are sure that the sender is interested in Dot Net and not just spamming the list. Also, please do not post homework/test answers to this list.
