About the Project
The Silicon Valley Open Source Research Project is an interdisciplinary study of the open source phenomenon. The project was launched in 2003 with funding from San José State University and local industry.
The project is hosted at the SJSU College of Business. The goal of the project is to generate applied research that contributes to the economic well-being of local firms and their employees.
