You will be eligible to compete in the SVBPC as long as you are, or someone on your new venture team is: a current SJSU student, a SJSU alumnus or alumna, or a member of the SJSU faculty or staff. The team member with connections to SJSU must be an integral part of the team and must have a material contribution to the completion of the business plan. Some other restrictions apply. 2012 Schedule of Events *:
- Register on-line March 13 to April 19, 2012
- Finance Workshop sponsored by ES, March 20
- Marketing workshop sponsored by ES, April 3
- Submit completed pre-registered Business Plan by midnight, April 24, 2012
- Semi-final presentations judging on May 3rd, 2012 (3-5 pm)
- Finalists announced on May 3rd, 2012 (midnight)
- Final presentations judging on May 16, 2012 (“Dead Day”)
