2012 SVBPC Registration instructions
Initial Registration Instructions
- Click a Register Now Button which will get you to this site:
https://gust.com/angel-group/silicon-valley-business-plan-competition/apply or click this link on D2L or here. - Enter the name of your company or project (you can edit it later until the submission deadline)
- Enter the e-mail address you wish to use for this registration twice, create password and submit
- Answer questions asked in the “Supplemental Questions” screen (right edge) below. You are NOT entered until the REQUESTED questions have been answered (click on the item, answer in box, SAVE) and you SHARE. You can enter any of the summary information at this time as well. SHARE your application with SVBPC by clicking the button on top right. If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail you may have not answered all the questions with words.
Final Submission Instructions
- Complete by April 24, 2012 (midnight)
- Log In to your GUST account (or click on the entry again)
- Provide the summary information in the screens provided (See below for more detail)
- Upload your COMPLETED Business Plan Document/s.
- Upload any other information you wish the Judges to have, that is not included in the screens
- IF you become a Semi-Finalist, please download and fill out and sign and bring the applicable documents to the semi-finals. This includes audio/video release and other possible documents to be added later.

- Under COMPANY CONTACT INFORMATION:
‘Company Name’ = Company or Project Name.
‘Address’ = address of your team leader or company - Under MANAGEMENT TEAM:
First Name Last Name of your team members.
‘Title’ = Title at company or SJSU degree/major/year - Under COMPANY PROFILE:
‘Number of Employees’ = number of members in your team.
‘Founded Date’: Provide it if it applies, or fill out today’s date.
For ‘Industry’: Select the one that applies to your company/project. - Under FINANCIAL SUMMARY:
Please provide all the data that applies. Minimum of 3 years required. - Under ADD DOCUMENTS:
You will need to provide all the documents listed in this section by midnight April 24, 2012, including but not necessarily limited to a full Business Plan.
