The Industrial Cooling Emperor, is the solution that reduces electricity costs for businesses. It is a solar thermal collector that functions as an ice generator, to provide cooling throughout a building. This technology has been developed by the Mechanical Engineering department of San Jose State University. This ice-making technology, in conjunction with insulation and a fan distributor, will serve as a programmable system that generates and stores ice overnight, and releases cool air the next day, at the hottest time of the day. This reduces the amount of electricity utilized during peak hours, drastically lowering costs, all in an environmental-friendly manner.

Disaster Relief Team

Our team has come with an idea that would help alleviate water shortages by purifying water during disaster situations, such as hurricanes, floods, etc. We will market our product to government agencies and non-profit organizations such as the American Red Cross.

Tenebra

Tenebra (or "darkness" in Latin) is a cryptological communication protocol that revolves around a cheap hardware random number generator, the Tenebra Device. Using Tenebra, consumers and businesses can communicate with military-grade cryptographic protection. Tenebra further adds value in that it requires almost no new computers or software other than a Tenebra Device, and can easily be integrated by banks and other financial institutions with minimal change to variable costs.

Eye-On-Exp

The Eye-On-Exp will provide a way for customers to keep an eye on their expenses better i.e. by viewing their receipts online. Presently, when users logs into their bank accounts, they can see the date of purchase of items/services, place of purchase, type of card, status, amount and balance. With the introduction of the Eye-On-Exp there will be an additional column called "Itemized Receipt™" which will enable the user to see the details of the purchases made.

Snack Caddy

Our idea is a snack caddy that can be used in movies and games and can be reused, unlike the current cardboard snack trays at the theater that are messy and are not reusable.

Wedding Officiants

Design and build a formula race car for competition against other universities. We incorporate new technology and materials into this vehicle to make it more competitive. This project involves students from all majors.

Pankration Invitation

This project is focused on providing an entertainment venue at the SJSU event center, which will be organized by SJSU students. The idea is to make this event a interdepartmental school project that unites students from the college of business, engineering, applied sciences and arts, humanities and arts, and social sciences. All of the students that participate will be able to gain experience and build their resumes, and networking will going to school. The industry of this event cannot be disclosed at this time, but is currently one of the oldest and newest main stream sports.

Fire Water Connection

We plan to facilitate to ease the tension of meeting people in a bar by implementing a way of communicating between tables at a bar.

Green Outreach Information Kiosks

Green Outreach Information Kiosks that will be energy efficient through solar panels, wind turbine, energy star materials, recyclable materials, while reducing waste from fliers and posters. These kiosks will be strategically placed across campus communities so that will information will be accessible and convenient to allow effective cross-flow communication, empower the campus community, and integrate sustainable culture into a campus community.
