Centered in the heart of San José and Silicon Valley, the College of Business has been serving the business educational needs of our community and the global marketplace since 1928. The College is one of the 500 institutions worldwide that are accredited by the prestigious AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. In addition, the College of Business is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and the California State Board of Education.

ETAR – Excellent Teaching and Applied Research
Excellent teaching underpins all of our activities. The College is committed to providing high quality, high value, and accessible education for the Silicon Valley region and beyond. We focus on producing research that helps organizations solve their problems. The faculty engages in research that enriches the knowledge base relevant to Silicon Valley and contributes to the vibrancy of our educational programs.

Enriching Undergraduate and Graduate Programs
The College is dedicated to equipping our graduates with the tools, work ethic and skills necessary to succeed in the every changing global economy. We seek to facilitate, recognize and celebrate the achievements of our students.

Community Alliances and Partnerships
The College of Business is centered in San José – the tenth largest city nationally – and fuels the local workforce with our alumni who make up a large percentage of the workers in the Silicon Valley corporations.

Leadership Through Innovation – Pursuing Thought Leadership
The College is building upon our existing expertise in entrepreneurship, management, global finance and leadership and organization change to create a multi-track Center for Global Business Competition and Innovation.

GEE – Global Education Experience
The College recognizes that business education necessitates a global mindset. We seek to develop robust partnerships with professional associations and corporations that encompass research, education and outreach for both students and faculty.
