This 1-day program, new for
2011, precedes the annual TEI-SJSU High Technology Tax Institute to provide
individuals with zero to five years tax experience and experienced tax
practitioners desiring to know more about high technology tax areas, an
opportunity to gain some background knowledge to enhance their learning
experience at the Institute. The academy topics tie to those covered at that
year's High Technology Tax Institute. Ideally, those attending this academy
will also be registering to attend the 2-day Institute, but that is not a
requirement for attending the Academy.
Continuing education credit
available for California CPAs (8 hours) and attorneys (6.75 hours MCLE).
Cost: $235 (includes meals
and materials) (TEI members $200; $40 higher after October 3. 2011)
Registration is closed
