The Career Center promotes the development of SJSU students as professionals by providing the tools to guide them in making career-planning decisions and marketing their skills to employers. We satisfy the needs of the employment community and complement the academic curriculum. Our high-touch customer service approach motivates, educates, and empowers students.
In the spring of 2008, the Career Center received the NACE/Chevron Award for our Internship Journey Video Series. The SJSU Career Center is the only two-time winner of the NACE/Chevron Award. The National Association of Colleges and Employers and Chevron Corporation select one school per year to acknowledge Outstanding Achievement for Innovative Programs in the College Career Services Field.
