Management Information Systems (MIS) is a rapidly growing field that integrates the use of computer technology with an understanding of business functions. Students electing to concentrate in MIS will develop excellent communication, analytical, business, and technology skills through a program of study that emphasizes the use of information technology to meet strategic challenges and needs.

Prerequisites

BUS 91L with a "C" or better is a prerequisite to Business 92 and 110B.
BUS 92 and 110B with a "C" or better are prerequisites to Business 110A. 
BUS 110A with a "C" or better is prerequisite to BUS 111 and 112.
BUS 111 and 112 with a "C" or better are prerequisites to Business 119A and all MIS electives.
BUS 119A with a "C" or better and one MIS elective are prerequisites to Business 119B.
100W is a prerequisite to all upper division MIS courses beyond BUS 110A.
BUS 119A and all MIS electives requires senior status (90 semester units completed).
BUS 119B requires graduating senior status.

These courses require a "C-" or better and must be completed and cleared by BSAC in BCC 008 (924-3435) prior to taking upper-division Business
