continue on your way home. You are starting to worry. It’s getting late and you
still need to study for that big exam. The stoplight in front of you turns

cop on a motorcycle is parked alongside the road. He sees you and begins to
follow your car.

cop thinks you are drunk and signals you to pull over. Do you try to get away? ____
The
cop succeeds in pulling you over. If you were speeding, you will be ticketed. If
you ran the stoplight you will be ticketed. If you tried to get away you will
be ticketed. If you had more than two drinks you will be ticketed. How many
tickets did you get? _____
What time is it when you finally get home? _____ You have an exam coming up and you need to study for it, but
you are hungry and there is a TV show you want to watch. How much time do you
spend studying? ______ If you spend less than two
hours studying, you could fail the exam.
