• Center for the Advancement of Research Methods and Analysis (CARMA) - webcasts available on various topics (COB has a subscription to this service - please use it; register using your COB email address; live webcasts need to be over an IP address connected to SJSU)

  • 2007/2008 schedule - you can watch these Friday morning monthly webcasts by yourself or with colleagues in BC 22. Please arrive at 8:45 am.

Service Opportunities

There are many opportunities for service on and off campus. For off-campus opportunities, consider the professional organizations you belong to. For on-campus:

• Serve as faculty advisor to a student club

• Look for campus activities, such as strategic planning forums, events of the COB's Silicon Valley Center for Entrepreneurship, Socrates Cafe sessions, reading discussion groups, Educated Person brown bags, MBA Association meetings, and other events where you can interact with students and employees.
