The Gary J. Sbona Honors Program is a special learning opportunity for the best students in the College of Business, providing an opportunity to work with top Silicon Valley organizations as part of their college curriculum. Subsidized travel abroad and special honors-only networking opportunities are also key parts of the program.
The Honors Practicum is the heart of the program, with participating organizations sponsoring real projects within their firms. Student teams are responsible for managing and executing the projects, producing the measurable results specified at the beginning of the project.
Participating organizations benefit, not only from the project itself, but also from forming a relationship with these potential employees well before graduation and the job search frenzy.
