Gary J. Sbona Honors Program
Department of Organization and Management
As part of the Gary J. Sbona Honors Program in the College of Business, the department of Organization & Management is offering an honors program for selected undergraduate students, normally in their final year at SJSU.
Curriculum
This program offers enriched classes with small class sizes and the opportunity
to gain practical and relevant experience that is valued by employers. The
program is designed for students with a concentration in Management or International
Business, and the two courses in the program substitute for management or IB
electives.
Students who satisfactorily complete the two-semester sequence and have a 3.5 GPA in upper division business courses will receive an honors degree, as designated on their transcript and diploma. They may also have the opportunity to take part in a subsidized international trip with other Sbona Honors students.
The O&M honors curriculum consists of the following classes:
Except in unusual circumstances, students are expected to complete Bus 169A prior to enrolling in Bus 169B. Therefore, admission for O&M students to the Sbona Honors Program is normally in the fall semester. Application Process
