General Information
The objectives of this course are for students to understand the concepts of and how to apply systems theory, the technological capabilities of databases, and the design and implementation of internal controls within accounting information systems (AISs).
Students are encouraged to make full use of the internet and computer technologies. For example, communication between the student, the instructor and other students is facilitated through the use of the e-mail, Discussion and Chat Room functions in WebCT, which we will be exploring as we proceed through the course(a set of tools that facilitate learning, communication and collaboration through the use of the Internet and computers).

Enter your 9 digit Student ID as your Blackboard ID. Your student ID can be found on the back of your Tower ID card.
Enter your password. Your password is your 4 digit pin number. Usually the pin number is the month and day of your birthday. For example, if your date of birth is January 7th, your pin number is 0107. If it does not work please contact IT Support Services: 924-2377, helpdesk@sjsu.edu.
Once you have logged in, you can click on "My Settings" on the top and click on "Change Password" under My Profile to change your password. Please keep your password simple and easy to understand. Please remember that, unlike WebCT, I can not reset your password for you. Therefore, make sure that you also set a secret question to assist you in case you forget your password.
Please click on the "Check Browser" link on the top right to check your browser settings. Once you click on the link, it will do a browser check for you and let you know what you need to download. Follow the instructions and once you have everything installed, you should be able to view all the content in your shell.
