May you have a wonderful Year of the Pig, and getting high grades in your classes. Secondly, I have uploaded your grades through the 3 Quiz on the Grades portion of the page. During our class on Monday, 19th, we will be forming groups and assigning projects to the groups. January 13, 2007 Happy New Year to all of the students to the BUS1120C class. Welcome to the BUS1120C website. In addition to this site, we will also be using the WebCT site to conduct businesses during the semester, including taking your tests. If you do not have a WebCT account, please work with the University to create one so that you will be able to begin using it on the first night of class. You will be given a password to access the Documents, Grades, and Projects portion of this site during the first night of class. For students who have a USB flash drive, I can provide you all the materials required for the whole semester during the first night of class. December 21, 2003 I have recently detected my PC slowed down a bit, and the Internet Explorer is popping up screens that I did not want to see. After cleaning the cookies files, and other known Windows vulnerabilities, including scanning the files with the latest antivirus software. It turned out that there are some companies who put in codes in the Windows XP and 2000 registry that come up with these screens that slow down your computer. You should go to the follow site to download a software to scan and remove those parasites, as they are called: You can also find additional information from the following site: September 30, 2003 I have come across some software that is free that you can download yourself. Some of you may be using MS Office Suite that is quite old. The following website provides an office suite that is compatible with MS Office, however, not 100 percent. They are designed for Linux and Unix systems, however, they will work for Windows. You can give it a trial. |
