All of the Lucas School's MBA programs are generalist in nature, though students have the ability to take elective courses in their area of interest. The reason for this is twofold: to give students a broad overview and understanding of all of the major functional areas required to successfully manage an enterprise, and to help students move into the ranks of upper management rather than becoming functional specialists.
