Lucas Graduate School of Business MBA-One Student Renee Lam Wins Third Place From Toastmasters International
On October 18, current MBA-One student Renee Lam took home the Toastmasters International third place trophy for Division F representing Cisco Speaks. Rene gave a fine speech but was bettered by veteran speakers with twenty-plus years experience. According to Renee: “It was a good learning experience and I respect my opponents. Much like management, the objective was to give presenters many options for improvement. My opponents could spot more flaws in the test speech than I could. Wow! I am proud to compete with them.” We are proud that Renee represents the Lucas Graduate School of Business!
