How to login into D2L site and Access Publisher's content using the Access code
Please login to https://sjsu.desire2learn.com/
Type your firstname.lastname as your user id and your 9 digit student id as the password.
(e.g.) User Id: jane.smith
Password: 123456789
You will see this landing page now.
Click on the class link. you will see Bus 160 class page.
When you are on the home page of Bus 160, you will see two sets of links. One on the top and the other on is just below the SJSU logo.
Click on the content link just below the SJSU logo. Or you can click on the "content" link in the "news" widget also.
Now you will be taken to Content section of the class.
you need to click on "start Here" tab if you have an Access code from the Publisher. If you don't have one please click on "Purchase Access" tab to purchase the code.
When you click on "Start Here" you will see the following page with two tabs.
First Time Users and Returning Users.
You can type your Login name and password if you have already registered your access code. Other wise you need to register your access code to create a login name and password. Please check your email messages if you have already registered the access code. The email will have your Login Name and password information that you need to login here in the "Returning Users" tab.
Now type your login name and password in the "Returning Users" tab. you will get a message from Pearson Custom Publishing saying that "Thank you for logging into a premium content area. Please close this window and go back to your course"
Now close the window as your registration is successful. Now go back to your Desire2learn Content page and view all the materials. you should be able to view all the postings now.
If you are accessing the materials from the same computer/machine then it will remember your user id and password. you need to type the user id and password if you are accessing the materials from other computer/machine.
