Dr.Rajaraman has served in many senior management roles for more than thirty-five years in the value-added information services and data communications industries. He has held many pioneering senior positions in the areas of Technology, Operations, Marketing, Corporate Strategy and Business Development. He is a founding architect of Tymnet, one of the leading precursors to the Internet and one of the most successful global commercial data networks in the world. The former Vice-President of Corporate Strategy and Business Development for British Telecom NA led the effort on due diligence with respect to an alliance effort leading to the BT/ MCI deal for $4.3billion in 1994. Dr.Rajaraman is currently an advisor to the Board/Senior Management Team of some of the emerging firms with emphasis on network-based value-added enterprise services. Over the last several years, in his senior advisory role, he has worked with a long list of successful companies and provided guidance on strategy, business development, technology and operations. Dr.Rajaraman, who is a highly respected public speaker, has an exemplary track record of major accomplishments with outstanding presentation, leadership and team building skills and tremendous credibility with large customers.
Dr.Rajaraman
received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Statistics from the University
of Madras, India. He received an M.B.A. with Honors as well as a Ph.D. in
Management Science from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He has many
presentations and publications to his credit and, for many years, Dr.Rajaraman
was an Honorary Faculty member at IBM, NY. As an adjunct/visiting faculty
member, he teaches courses on Business Strategy/ IT Strategy to the MBA and the
Executive MBA students with many years of corporate experience in multi-national
corporations
