Welcome to Carol Reade's Home Page Carol Reade teaches international management, international business, and conflict management and negotiation in the College of Business. A Bay Area native, Carol has more than 20 years experience living and working abroad in Japan, Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Mexico, and the United Kingdom. Carol received her doctorate from the London School of Economics. Her research interests include culture, conflict, and social identity in the context of multinational enterprises. She has published in the International Journal of Human Resource Management, International Journal of Conflict Management, Journal of Managerial Psychology, and Thunderbird International Business Review. Trained at Harvard Law School's Program on Negotiation, Carol has provided consulting and training in negotiation and mediation for clients at IBM, Unilever, Coca-Cola, Liz Claiborne, United Airlines, HSBC, American Chamber of Commerce, the Government of Sri Lanka, the Asian Development Bank, and the World Bank.
