Gary J. Sbona Summer 2008 Travel Abroad Program

Qualified students in the Gary J. Sbona Honors Program have an option to participate in the International Travel Abroad Program. This funded program includes acclimation workshops about a selected location of international business interest followed by a two-week trip to businesses and organizations in the selected nation(s). Typically over three-quarters of expenses are covered by the program.

The goal of this trip is to:

  1. Show examples of businesses and communities that have developed and prospered since the region’s change to a market-driven economy.
  2. Show examples where the change has not been as effective.
  3. Visit universities and businesses representative of the academia and business in the region.
