If you’d like to be an SVCE volunteer (student/faculty member) to give a short presentation to your class, please contact Shruti Kumthekar at kumthe_s@cob.sjsu.edu.

Here are some suggestions of ways to involve students:
 

• Integrate student participation in the Neat Ideas Fair into your syllabus

• Assign a class project related to the Fair

• Give credit or extra credit for workshop attendance

• Give credit or extra credit for participating in the fair

• Mention the Fair to your class

• Mention it in your syllabus

• Mention the workshops in your class or syllabus

• Include a link to the SVNIF website on your faculty website

• Schedule a short presentation to your class by an NIF volunteer
