d. Student learning objectives for the course:

Bus 169B allows students to apply the concepts of their management education (particularly the advanced concepts covered by Bus 169A) in the complexity of a real-world organizational context. Students will work with a client organization to define a project with concrete objectives and schedule, and then will be responsible for meeting those committments. Students will be expected to demonstrate strong oral and written interpersonal communication skills,b oth in working with the client and with other members of their project team. Students will also develop and practice key management skills, including analysis, leadership, teamwork and accountability.

Academic dishonesty defrauds all those who depend upon the integrity of the University, its courses, and its degrees. Such dishonesty includes both cheating and plagiarism. Any suspected case of academic dishonesty will be vigorously pursued, with possible consequences including a failing grade for the specific assignment that you cheated on, failure in the course, and further disciplinary action.

3. Course requirements:

This is a project-based course, in which the primary focus is on defining, planning, implementing and reporting on a specific, well-defined project for an assigned client organization.
